In cosa ti somiglio is a work of musical theater for woman’s voice, an actor, childrens’ choir, electronics and instruments, based on some rhymes in Perusian dialect by the poet Claudio Spinelli (1930-2002), conceived by the Umbrian author Raffaele Sargenti, staged in Bologna thanks to a collaboration between “Octava Aurea” Association and the Department of Arts/Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna/Centro La Soffitta “Il Saggiatore Musicale/SagGEM”, with the

participation of “Guido Reni” School-IC16 and Music High School”Lucio Dalla”, Bologna. Woman’s Voce: Elisa Bonazzi. Flute: M°Andrea Biagini. Musical Direction: M° Mario Cecchetti.

The work is developing around the leading themes of cultural identity and the belonging to the place of origin. In this ideal journey through time, local tradition, real life and cultured musical quotations intertwine in a work which uses several expressive ways: theatrical play, mime, choral composition, elaboration and synthesis of recorded sounds.

The project has been realized also thanks to the support by Fondazione “Brunello e Federica Cucinelli” to the artistic activities of “Octava Aurea” Association.
